Metropolitan Airport NewsBy Metropolitan Airport NewsAugust 4, 20191 Comment1 Min Read

SOS Security, the nation’s fourth largest provider of security personnel, officially unveiled its New York City regional office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony

The company moved its New York regional office to 2 Park Avenue to meet growing business needs in the New York City metropolitan area. SOS Security opened its first New York City office in 1972 to be closer to a growing clientele.

Today, a strong local management team works closely with clients at more than 250 sites in and around the City. The SOS Security team of more than 2,000 professional officers provide all aspects of fixed-site, emergency response and special services across the city.

“New York City is a critical market for SOS Security; It is remarkable to think about all that we’ve done and how we’ve progressed over the years,” SOS Security Chairman and CEO Edward B. Silverman, CPP, told attendees at the ceremony. “I appreciate everybody’s work. Everybody in this room played a part.”

SOS Security’s New York City region serves airports, commercial properties, banking and finance, high-end retail, technology, educational and religious organizations, medical facilities and more.
