The first Latina Flight Director of NASA Mission Control, Ginger Kerrick Davis will help the Cradle of Aviation Museum unveil our Future Is Now exhibit, “Personal Flight.” The opening of the exhibit is Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

The Future is Now is sure to wow attendees with the marriage of science fiction and science fact and will feature a variety of new exhibits, events, education programs, and planetarium shows that focus on the future of aviation, the space program, and the science behind them all.

The Future is Now

The Cradle of Aviation will be unveiling Personal Flight, an exhibit featuring four eVTOLs (Electric Vertical Take-Off, and Landing vehicles); this goes along with two other exhibits that debuted last year, Hubble: New Views of the Universe (also featuring the James Webb Telescope) and Mars Exploration (featuring the Mars 2020 Mission with Perseverance and Ingenuity).

Ms. Kerrick Davis will meet with local high school students for a special question-and-answer session, discussing the future of air and space and sharing some of her experiences and insights from her illustrious career.

In addition to her role as Flight Director of NASA Mission Control, Ms. Kerrick Davis is a 30 year veteran of the Johnson Space Center, and is currently VP of Corporate Strategy at Barrios Technology.
