The Global Foundation for First Responders Second Annual Blue and Red Tie Gala was held on September 12, 2019 at the Carltun, Eisenhower Park. Established in 2015 by William McGuire, President and CEO of Global Elite Group, the Global Foundation’s mission is to support the families of first responders who lost their lives saving others in the line of duty. Every penny raised by this event goes directly to the foundation, the organization is run entirely by volunteers.
The evening began with a performance by the Nassau County Emerald Society Pipe Band, followed by an invocation from Reverend Dabee, and presentation of Person of the Year Award to Representative Peter King by Mr. McGuire.
