Metropolitan Airport NewsBy Metropolitan Airport NewsFebruary 5, 2020No Comments1 Min Read

JetBlue Airways announced multiple schedule and route changes for the new year as well as several new routes. The airline will introduce non-stop daily service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Guatemala City’s La Aurora International Airport on June 1st. Guatemala will be the 25th city served by the carrier.

The New York-based airline also announced non-stop seasonal service to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport in Montana from JFK and from Boston Logan International Airport.  It also is adding non-stop service from JFK to Nashville, Tennessee.

The airline is ending all service at Oakland International Airport but will continue normal operations at San Francisco International and San Jose International airports.  It is also increasing flights from New York, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Finally, JetBlue said it will reduce the number of flights to Havana’s José Martí International Airport and will offer up to three daily flights from Fort Lauderdale and reduce the frequency of its JFK flights to Cuba to once a week.  JetBlue was the first airline to offer commercial service in over 50 years when it starting flying there three and a half years ago.
