U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the appointment of Elva Muñeton as Acting Port Director of John F. Kennedy International Airport. Ms. Muñeton is the Assistant Director of Trade for the Los Angeles Field Office. During her long CBP career, she has successfully managed many diverse components and has overseen several nationwide programs. Her reassignment will be effective on March 13, 2023.
Current Port Director Salvatore Ingrassia will temporarily be taking over as Acting Director of the Miami Field Office.
